Hutch, sorry to hear that you are crying.
I have other things to do, so if there is a delay in my posting, just
hug your teddy bear.
Auric:
Under US Copyright law, the posting, hosting or downloading of a file
is not illegal.
Other facts must be present to bring a cause of action.
Even if PowerBaisc does not authorize a file to be uploaded, that is
not sufficient to rise to the
level needed for a cause of action. If you really care, I can provide
you case law.
Also, yes I am going to create an online server for my PowerBasic
compiler so that source code can be uploaded and have it produce an
EXE or DLL.
As Hutch my darling wrote ...
"We were just buttering you up so that you would say something really
stupid so that another budding
entrepeneur could give you a good shafting under the American legal
system."
Well, bring it. I've beaten the IRS in court twice without a lawyer,
so I am not intimidated by the court process.
Why are you such a coward that you won't bring the case yourself? You
depend on others to do your dirty work.
"Now think of all the practice you will miss out on without your arse
on the chopping block, with enough practice we could help you become
the new Clarence Darrow."
Clarence Darrow was a TRIAL LAWYER. In the US there are MANY TYPES of
LAWYERS.
This shows that you know nothing more than the average person about
the US legal system.
"Think of the missed opportunities here, even if you ended up being
arse raped and ended up camping on the shores of Lake Michigan ..."
Not really sure why Hutch is so interested in my "arse."
Also not really sure why Hutch and Auric care so much about where I
live (Michigan).
That all said.
Hutch lied. He stated that the PowerBasic download HAS a virus.
He/Auric also assert that it would be illegal for Hutch to download
the torrent. As such, Hutch has not done so.
Well ... in order to know if the torrent has a virus, he needs to
download it ... which he has not done.
Hutch had not (according to him) downloaded the file, thus lies when
he asserts that the file HAS a virus. This is something he cannot
know.
But this gets boring.
I understand that Hutch lies. And he used his own words to prove it.
QED.
Eric
