You appear to not be in the United States. Specific suggestions
will depend where you are located. While the basics are the same
across industries, the particular applications, common programs,
and installations are not, such as explosion proof enclosures at
refineries. The more specific you are about your desired
industry, the more we can help you.

If you are an electronics tech, you have a good background. I
suggest that you enroll at your local technical institute or
college and take some courses.

The instructors will be able to walk you through the procedures,
and you will have some hands-on pieces of equipment to practice
with.

You also might talk to your employer about the possibility of the
company providing training, or a group of employers could share
the expense of on-site instruction for their employees.
